Brilliant Demo puts the pressure on
at the National Greyhound Awards

30 plus demonstraters made a noisy protest outside the Keadeen Hotel today. The support from passers by was amazing and the hotel got so many calls and emails saying they would be boycotted that they threatened to clamp our cars in the carpark in retaliation.

We had three magaphones and the sirens could be heard from inside the Hotel. We chanted, You bet they die, and Greyhound racing is a shame, Pascal Taggart is to blame...among others.

They tried shutting all the hotel doors but we could still be heard. All of the dickie bowed punters were livid as we held up boards with pictures of all the dogs with their ears removed .

All in all a great protest, the press association of Ireland took photos and hopefully we will have some press in the morning.
