Please contact a UK MP who has two greyhounds and ask him to join the campaign to abolish greyhound racing

Bob Spink MP for Castle Point in the UK has two greyhounds 'Fozzy bear' and 'Jessie' who recently won a contest called 'Westminster dog of the year'.

We are now asking all our supporters national and international to please write to Mr Spink urging him to be a voice for the greyhounds in parliament, the greyhounds need someone to speak out for them more now than ever before.

Email Mr Spink here spinkr@parliament.uk please keep all correspondence polite.

Please tell him that you would like to see a ban on greyhound racing due to immense cruelty to dogs, if you have rescued a previously abused greyhound and would like to tell Mr Spink about this please do, please do everything you can to gain his sympathy for the anti-racing campaign, please ask him to view these websites (copy and paste them into your email)-

Please tell Mr Spink that you have read recently in the last few weeks a
greyhound who was found stabbed to death with a breadknife in Sunderland, an
ex-racing greyhound who was dumped in Sittingbourne and then involved in a road
traffic accident, a greyhound found drowned in a potato sack in the River
Foyle in Ireland, a heartbreaking case of a greyhound who was pregnant with
six pups, brutally killed with ears hacked off and dumped on wasteland in
Iron Acton nr. Bristol, also a very disturbing case in Hartlepool of a
greyhound found decomposed with ears hacked off, an emaciated greyhound
found in Gloucestershire and a recent prosecution for a man who kept his
racing greyhounds in concentration camp type conditions, and most recently a greyhound
found in Bedlington Northumberland with ears hacked off still alive.

Let's do all we can to encourage this man to be a parliamentary voice for the greyhounds.
