Below
are the DIRECT words in Spanish of a Spaniard who rescued a galgo in
great pain. The dog had been abandoned to die a slow, miserable, torturous
death. A private individual, not the police or government or any municipal
organization, rescued the dog. -T. Smith

Dear
Gisela,
I send you the pictures of a greyhound that picked up yesterday Evagrio
and other partners near Albacete.
He has a fracture open of the paw rear right, like you can see in the
pictures. The other paw also has a strong bruise with possibility of
something of exposed tendon, although it supports him. There are other
smaller wounds. he is very thin and young and male.
The galgo was in a hollow left to die. because I imagine the tremendous
pain that was happening, we have left him in the clinic after curing
him the wounds. We put him on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory, because
he had a fever of 40, for infection. He has also been put on morphine
for the pain and the poor thing gave a sigh of relief that almost made
us cry. As you told us that we warned you in cases of this type, I write
you to see if you have possibilities to help him. A hug ,Balbino
In the United States, the person who caused this animal this great harm
and suffering would be found, tried in a court of law and fined or jailed.
In Spain, the government does nothing. - T. Smith
When will Spain become civilized and protect Man's Best Friend from
the torture and suffering??
¿Cuando será el pais de España civilizado y cuando
va a proteger estos maravillosos animales de esta tortura??
