I can
only really tell you what I have told the others who have
contacted me.
I am
not on the planning committee, so therefore not totally sure
of the rules, but I doubt that the treatment of dogs is a
legal planning reason for refusal.
If this
can be proved it must be dealt with elsewhere. I am totally
against greyhound and horse racing but the law does not allow
for that and other reasons will be needed I am sure. The possibility
of rowdieness MAY be a reason - again can it be proved? Also
the conservation area may be a way round it.
I am sorry
this is not the answer you want, but if it is rejected on
anything other than legal grounds, they will appeal, they
will win, the council will have a hefty bill and it will still
go ahead.
Could
I also ask that if this is part of a chain of emails to be
sent that you forward this reply to future senders. The ones
I have already received have large chunks almost word for
word and while I am always happy to answer queries, I am not
part of the process in this case.
